Interface art 2015

Art Project

During spring and summer of 2015 the Ballymac youth will be involved in a art project which will involve brightening up the black railings that run along the front of our local residents homes at the Interface on the Lower Newtownards Road at Pitt Park. The young people from Ballymac youth will be working in partnership alongside a local artist to who will hold facilitated workshops to engage the young people and help them paint designs on metal sections which will then be mounted onto the black railings. The young people hope to brighten up this interface area with their designs and make it more colourful for local residents and people travelling through East Belfast.
