Background to the project
The our pitt park project was a partnership formed between the heritage lottery, Belfast barge, Belfast exposed and the Ballymac friendship trust with the year of creating a yearlong intergenernational project bringing together yong and older people from the lower newtownards road area. The groups came together to research, record and document what life has been like for the people who have lived in the area over the last 100 years.
This partnership was funded by the Heritage lottery fund young roots programme.
